You put a lot of thought into your website. The campaign imagery you choose, the collections you curate, the product stories you tell. When shoppers find you on Shop, you want them to get the benefit of that same well-crafted experience.
Now, for select merchants, supported content from the homepage of your online store syncs directly with your Shop store. Shoppers get more to explore without creating more work for you.
Your brand story, built for Shop
Your homepage is more than just a place to list your products. It’s where you introduce new products, guide shoppers to timely collections, and even show off how products work together. Now all that storytelling gets carried over to Shop like never before.
Whether it’s a new hero campaign or a new collection, updates to your homepage sync with sections of your Shop store. Supported images and videos, featured collections, product rows, and other content all get ported over. So everything stays aligned.
But your Shop store isn’t just a direct copy of your website. Content from your published homepage gets adapted for the Shop selling environment. Some of it gets translated into Shop-native sections. Other sections may not appear if they aren’t supported by Shop. Product detail pages, About pages, FAQs, and standalone navigation currently don’t get synced. Your online store theme and SEO remain unchanged.
Less repeat work for you. And more control.
Instead of duplicating all the merchandising work for your next launch, now you do it once and you’re done.
To see how things are looking on Shop, you can always visit the Shop sales channel in your Shopify admin and see how your store is showing up. Want to make changes directly? Turn off syncing to manually edit your Shop store. But don’t forget: with syncing turned off, future updates to your homepage will no longer carry over to Shop.

Want to start syncing your Shop store again? Before selecting Sync now, be sure to review the latest preview and confirm you’re okay with replacing any manual content edits you may have made with the latest supported content from your online store.
How to get started
Syncing with your online store is available in early access for a small group of select merchants. Availability will expand gradually. You must be using Online Store 2.0 themes to be eligible to participate. (Interested in participating in the roll out? Let us know.)
Once syncing is available for your store, you’ll be able to view it directly from the Shop channel in your Shopify admin.
Your online store already tells your story. Now your Shop store can help tell the same story. With way less work from you.
